Rătăciți în Panama is the first season of the Romanian version of Survivor.

Aly Elsiddig defeated Silvia Launeanu in a public vote of 67% to 33%, winning the title of Sole Survivor and €50,000, roughly equal to US$75,000 in 2023.

Due to low ratings, the series was not renewed for a second season.

Production

At the time of airing, Rătăciți în Panama was the most expensive Romanian TV show ever produced, costing over €2,000,000 to make, roughly equal to US$3,300,000 in 2023.

Format

• Tribe Composition: The eighteen castaways were divided into three tribes of six, based on their degree of status in life. The Vedetele tribe was comprised of Romanian celebrities, the Aspiranții tribe was comprised of aspiring celebrities, and the Debutanții tribe was comprised of everyday Romanian citizens.
• Public Vote: The Final Two would face a public vote to decide who would win the title of Sole Survivor.
