Pete is strongly religious - he's a born-again Christian whose luxury item is the Bible, a rare thing among the razors and toothbrushes chosen by his fellow competitors. He played in a Christian rock band for six years and currently lives with his parents.
He's very fit and physically competitive, but less keen on conflict or deceit. He has little survival experience, but is adept at swimming and fishing. Pete had intended to put weight on before the programme, but was unable to because of a modelling assignment - could this prove to be a disadvantage?[2]
