Pedro Francisco García Aguado is the Sole Survivor of Supervivientes 2024.

Pedro started the game considered to be quite brash and unfair and was a polarising figure on the island, with some suggesting he formed relationships with contestants and kept castaways in check, while others felt he was false and that his mental health had deteriorated on the island. While the frequent target of alliances, especially as he had a knack for coming only second in immunity challenges, viewers found him to be a father figure on the island, coming from his TV work with young people, and voted him to win.

Supervivientes[]

55-year-old Pedro came to Honduras known for his TV work with young people, and having been only in the spotlight recently for an incident as a guest on Gran Hermano VIP. Pedro found it difficult to adapt to life on the island, but his age had stopped him, saying "Inside me is a child who wants to be in everything, but I go to get logs and my legs are shaking." By Episode 4 he had got on the bad side of Arantxa del Sol, who had formed an alliance against him, however viewers liked his performance in immunity challenges and saved him.[3]

After this Pedro found it difficult to keep his emotions in check, and many fans questioned his apparently unprovoked outburst at Rubén Torres but especially at Aurah Ruiz - given he had come to fame for helping promote young people's mental health, some viewers felt disappointed that Pedro couldn't keep to his own methods.

As the weeks grew on, especially post-merge castaways started to see him as a father figure and moved away from Pedro as an alliance target, both due to not having the numbers and realising that viewers' opinions on Pedro were starting to change, and that they would vote for him to go through. He won the vote to win the €200,000 prize by 54% to 46% and while viewers largely did not mind the result, Gorka Ibarguren was displeased, while Carmen Borrego and Marieta Díaz were happy he won (Rubén Torres also didn't mind losing the crown to him).[4]
