Paula Vázquez Picallo is a Spanish TV presenter. She rose to fame as a model on successful game show 1, 2, 3... ¡responda otra vez!, before jumping ship to Antena 3 to host the Spanish version of Don't Forget Your Toothbrush!, and later to Telecinco to host daytime quiz show El juego del euromillón and later Gran Hermano.
In 2003, she jumped back to Antena 3 to host La Isla de los FamoS.O.S., the network's celebrity reboot of Telecinco's flop Supervivientes: Expedición Robinson from a few years before, with Alonso Caparrós. The reformatting of the show, which made it more similar to Gran Hermano, was much more of a success than it had been on Telecinco, and Paula stayed for two more series.
In 2006 the show moved back to Telecinco and was relaunched as Supervivientes. Paula did not jump ship with the show, and was replaced by Jesús Vázquez.[1]

Paula joined when the show swapped from Telecinco to Antena 3 in 2003. Under her presentation style the show turned into a more Gran Hermano-style popularity contest, the format which the show has continued with since her arrival. Despite presenting originally with Alonso Caparrós, the latter was replaced with Nuria Roca after the first series.[2]
Paula left the show when it ended on Antena 3 and moved to Telecinco. She revealed in 2023 that she left the show as she and network manager Paolo Vasile fell out when she jumped ship in 2002, and after his departure from the network and the resulting change in focus to more family-oriented programming in 2022, the doors were open for a return to the network.[3]
