Tribe History

On Day 23, both Kalooban and Tiyaga merged into the Pag-Asa tribe. Christophe Tiffet's majority alliance, which now also included Maryse Lauzon and Karine Lavigne-Fortin, was able to regroup; they recruited yet another new member into their fold, Justine Turpin. Joël Dandurand was their first target for elimination, but when he won the first individual Immunity Challenge, they split the votes between Sylvain Béland and Nicolas Brunette instead. By a vote of 5-3-3, Sylvain was voted out for a second time. However, without the Pag-Asa tribe's knowledge, he was sent to Redemption Island.

Directly after Sylvain's elimination, it was revealed that a Double Elimination would be taking place, with the next Immunity Challenge being hosted immediately. The Tiyaga Alliance immediately had another chance to vote out Joël after he lost said Immunity Challenge to Maryse. The alliance split their votes between Nicolas and Joël; Joël played his Hidden Immunity Idol for himself, and Sango Bien-Aimé played his own for Kimberly Fortin to establish loyalty. As a result, Nicolas was eliminated as collateral damage.

With nine contestants remaining in the main game, Sango took advantage of a boat reward that he shared with Sandrine Fortier, Maryse, and Justine, and the four agreed to work with Joël to blindside Jean-Junior Morin at the next Tribal Council. After Jean-Junior won the third individual Immunity Challenge, their target switched to Christophe. However, Justine preferred to work with Christophe's group in the long run and leaked what happened on the boat to them. The Tiyaga Alliance then made plans to target Sango instead of Joël at the next Tribal Council, all while Justine pretended to still be onboard with blindsiding Christophe. Ultimately, Sango was blindsided in a close 5-4 vote, sending him to Redemption Island.

Christophe won the next Reward Challenge, and Kimberly won the following Immunity Challenge. Joël, Maryse, and Sandrine planned to use Sandrine's Extra Vote at the next Tribal Council, while Joël tried to bait the majority alliance into splitting their votes. However, the majority alliance ended up piling all but one of their votes on Joël, and a communication failure led Sandrine to accidentally cast her two votes against Christophe instead of Karine. With this unfavorable 4-2-2-1 vote distribution, Joël was voted out. As his torch was about to be snuffed, he asked Patrice to address him by his late brother's name Mario in his honor.

The main game now consisted of seven players. Maryse ultimately won the following Reward Challenge, and she got to assign six other dishes to the Pag-Asa tribe members. At the Immunity Challenge, Jean-Junior won individual immunity for the second time. At Tribal Council, the majority alliance voted out Maryse in a 4-3 vote. The next Reward Challenge was the Loved Ones Challenge, which Karine won and shared the reward with Christophe and Jean-Junior. After Sandrine failed to win the next individual Immunity Challenge, she was eliminated in a 4-2 vote over Justine.

On Redemption Island, Nicolas won the final duel against Sandrine and Sylvain and returned to the game. While most of the tribe seemed to have the same short-term headspace to simply concentrate on voting Nicolas back out of the game, Jean-Junior began discussing further moves with Christophe. Feeling that the pair and Karine were the "Three Musketeers" at this point, Jean-Junior suggested to Christophe that they cut Kimberly at the final five instead of Justine since Justine would be easier to beat at the end. Unfortunately for Jean-Junior, Christophe had developed a soft spot for Kimberly over the cycles, so he told her about Jean-Junior's intentions. In response, the pair recruited Nicolas to stealthily blindside Jean-Junior at the next Tribal Council in a 3-2-1 vote, with Karine and Justine being left out of the plan.

At the final five, the castaways competed in the Get a Grip challenge for immunity. Karine ultimately lasted the longest and won individual immunity. Since the new trio of Nicolas, Kimberly, and Christophe wanted to stick together, they targeted Justine. Additionally, at Tribal Council, Christophe used a Vote Blocker advantage on Karine, preventing her from voting. Justine was ultimately eliminated by the trio in a 4-1 vote. On Day 43, the final four competed in their Final Immunity Challenge, Blind Maze. Nicolas ultimately won the challenge, allowing him, Kimberly, and Christophe to unanimously vote Karine out that night and reach the Final Three.

At the Final Tribal Council, Kimberly was mostly ignored by the jury due to her quiet, under-the-radar game. Christophe's final performance was heavily criticized for the lack of strategy in his game, as he spoke more about his game with the alliance instead of his game. Meanwhile, Nicolas delivered a strong and convincing case. Ultimately, Jean-Junior voted for Christophe, Sylvain voted for Kimberly, while the rest jury voted for Nicolas, crowning him the first Sole Survivor of Survivor Québec.
