Nut Cracker is a challenge that first appeared in Survivor: Samoa, and re-appeared internationally in Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.

Rules

The castaways would play a variation of Tee-ball with the men competing against the men and the women against the women. The playing field would be divided into sections with different point values. Each castaway would take one swing at the ball. Wherever the ball comes to a stop, without going out of bounds, would be that castaway's score. There is also an overhead net that awards 10 points to whomever lands their ball inside. The person with the highest score wins.

History

In Survivor: Samoa, the challenge was used as the first individual Immunity Challenge, with one Immunity Necklace awarded to the highest-scoring man and woman. During the men's round, John Fincher landed his ball in the "5" zone to win immunity. In the women's round, Laura Morett scored a 4 to win immunity.

In Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina, the challenge was used at the final five as the Loved Ones Challenge. After three rounds, Kaseran Pillay had the highscore of 18 and won the challenge.
