Placed on the Iban tribe, Nomfundo looked to play an old-school social game. Ultimately, after Iban lost the first Immunity Challenge of the season, she was blindsided in a 4-3-1 vote after a four-person majority spearheaded by Grant Clark chose to eliminate her based on her perceived challenge weakness over Lisa Atkinson, whose grating personality was seen as the lesser weakness between the two.
