Namadia was partnered with Camille Sold for the opening challenge and the pair won. In consequence, Camille and Namadia became the captains of the Sungaï and Mawar tribes, respectively, and got to choose their tribemates. Valuing challenge strength above all, Namadia was appreciated for his capacities as a leader and a challenger, but was criticized for not contributing enough around camp. Throughout the tribal phase of the game, Namadia remained tight with Anthony Dito and Marylou Sidibé and the trio managed to get their way the majority of the time the Mawar tribe went to Tribal Council. He also found a Hidden Immunity Necklace that he kept secret from even his closest allies. Before the merge, Anthony and Javier Rodriguez were selected to be the Ambassadors of their respective tribes and, after they failed to convince one another to turn on one of their respective allies, the pair opted to draw rocks which resulted in Anthony being eliminated from the game. Knowing that the original Sungaï tribe members had the majority needed to pagong the original Mawar tribe members, Javier insisted to his allies that they vote out Namadia, who did not win the first individual Immunity Challenge, at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. Some of his female allies objected to this because they felt that the original Mawar tribe members losing Namadia right after losing Anthony would be hard for them to swallow. When they suggested Bernard Deniaud as the alliance's target instead, Javier remained stubborn about Namadia and insisted that the alliance play ruthlessly. Out of sorrow, Catherine Perez and Camille informed Namadia that he would be voted out that night. At Tribal Council, Namadia took advantage of this information and correctly played his Hidden Immunity Necklace on himself, "idoling out" Javier in consequence with the votes of his alliance. Even some of the original Sungaï tribe members were relieved that Namadia was still in the game and, throughout the following cycle, the merged tribe was more united with Ugo Latriche and Brice Martinet now being on the outs. However, when the second individual Immunity Challenge ended and people starting contemplating their targets, Namadia's laziness around camp caught up to him and the original Sungaï tribe members resumed their original strategy, voting out Namadia later at Tribal Council.
