Mylène a l'aura réconfortante de la maman et c'est le rôle qu'elle veut jouer dès le départ. Une confidente secrètement calculatrice, qui analyse toutes les situations et utilise l'information qu'elle reçoit à son avantage. « J'ai juste l'air de la “girl next door”, mais je peux être surprenante ! » Sa stratégie consiste à cacher ses habiletés communicationnelles et à mettre son côté leader en veilleuse pour être toujours prête à aider en suivant les directives de ceux qui prendront les devants. Bref, elle veut se faire oublier le plus possible. Mylène est super compétitive, mais au cours des dernières années, elle a beaucoup travaillé à sortir de la performance pour miser sur le côté humain. C'est d'ailleurs l'aspect qu'elle trouve le plus important à Survivor ; seuls des liens solides et multiples pourront la sauver et lui garantir les votes nécessaires à son couronnement de gagnante de la saison 3 ![1]
Survivor Québec[]
Mylène was selected by female tribe leader Danyelle Bachand to be a part of the Ugat tribe. Though it was viewed as the "older" tribe, the Ugat tribe won the first five challenges, including three immunity challenges, so its members were able to avoid having to attend Tribal Council very early in the game. In spite of this, alliances did develop with Danyelle, Sébastien Bénès, Kathrine Huet, and André Langlais forming one quartet and Jérémie Cataphard, Geneviève La Haye, William Robitaille, and Myriam Taillon forming another. Also, Mylène, Léanne Lépine Robert, and, secretly, Myriam aligned with the members of the former quartet to form the Sun Alliance and Jérémie and Kathrine formed a secret duo and agreed to inform one another if they hear the other's name being thrown around. Throughout the early cycles, the Sun Alliance's main target shifted from boisterous and eccentric outsider Eric Valériote to Geneviève, who had won an Extra Vote at a summit meeting and then lied in an obvious way that she had lost her vote for her next Tribal Council, and then again to Jérémie, who was voted out once the Ugat tribe lost their first immunity challenge during the fourth cycle because he was a persuasive player. At the Final Eighteen, a tribe switch took place and Mylène became a member of the Sapa tribe alongside Danyelle, Sébastien, Geneviève, and original Malaki tribe members Kevin Dubé and Élodie Monga-Dubreuil. During the same cycle, the Sapa tribe lost the sixth immunity challenge and it seemed that Kevin and Élodie would be easy targets for elimination. However, Mylène talked to Geneviève about making a move against Danyelle because she wanted for the tribe to be strong moving forward and felt that Danyelle was the weakest in challenges among them. Geneviève seemed open to this idea, but she bounced it off of Kevin and Élodie, who told her that they simply want to align with her, and then off of Sébastien, who was Danyelle's closest ally and told her that he wouldn't join in on this vote. Shortly after though, Sébastien became more proactive in order to protect Danyelle and convinced his tribemates to blindside Mylène since she wasn't really effective in challenges either. With her plan having backfired, Mylène was voted out unanimously at the corresponding Tribal Council.
