Moto Maji was the merged tribe of Boran and Samburu from Survivor: Africa. Their tribe color is green.

=Tribe History
Moto Maji was the first merged tribe, for all members to be present. They merged at the immunity challenge "When it Rains it Pours." At the challenge everyone was eliminated, except for Clarence Black and Teresa Cooper. Clarence tried to make a deal with Teresa, so that she would fall. Teresa agreed on playing a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who would fall on purpose. Teresa won the game, and Clarence was forced to drop from the challenge, giving Teresa immunity. Back at camp Teresa promised Clarence that she wouldn't vote for him. The deal remained, but the others had a different plan mind. Lex van den Berghe received two votes, but it was Clarence who got the boot, in an 8-2 vote. Teresa's vote for Lex would turn out to be a controversial vote later on.

- Moto Maji is also the first merged tribe to have an unequal number of men and women; the tribe contained six men and four women.
- Moto Maji was the first tribe to have a name composed of two words.
- Lex van den Berghe named this tribe, as a pun trying to imply that everyone would be in hot water at one point of the game.
- The three castaways from this tribe that were on Boran during the entirety of the pre-merge phase were the only three from this tribe to not be on the jury. Clarence was eliminated one cycle before the jury phase while Ethan and Kim J. made the Final Two.
