Morgan Ricke is a contestant from Survivor: Ghost Island.
During her brief time in the game, Morgan's bubbly personality gained her allies from her original tribe and a Legacy Advantage from Jacob Derwin. However, after the tribe switch, Morgan's decision to target tribemate Angela Perkins gave the former members of Malolo the leverage to blindside her in a plurality vote spearheaded by James Lim.

Age: 29
Hometown: New Albany, Indiana
Current residence: Orlando, Florida
Occupation: Marine Animal Trainer
Hobbies: Sleeping, cheering for the South Carolina Gamecocks, and binge watching true crime documentaries.
Pet peeves: Feet, cold weather, and a shortage of ketchup.
Three words to describe you: Bubbly, stubborn, and determined.
What's your personal claim to fame? Accomplishing my childhood dream of becoming a killer whale trainer at SeaWorld Orlando!
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My parents. They have been married for 32 years and have raised five successful, happy, and healthy children. They have stuck by each other's side through all the ups and downs over the years and have never given up on one another!
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? Lip balm—I'm addicted—a space heater to keep me warm, and a super comfy pair of sweatpants.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Kelley Wentworth. She was strategic, strong, sneaky, and a fighter. She wasn't afraid to make big moves. She played her own game and didn't hide in anyone's shadow.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? It has always been one of my dreams to be on Survivor. I have been a fan of the show since Season 2 and I know I have what it takes to be the Sole Survivor. Additionally, I would love to see a new part of the world and a million dollars wouldn't be bad either.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? Being resilient, strong, and fearless are nice traits that should translate well on the island. For example, at a younger age I was a competitive gymnast on the national level and sustained a career-ending injury. Doctors told me I would never compete again as a gymnast, nor play other sports. Fortunately, in high school, I went to state finals in volleyball and diving and then earned a D1 diving scholarship to the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks![2]
Survivor[]
On Day 1, host Jeff Probst gave Tribe Leaders Brendan Shapiro of Malolo and Chris Noble of Naviti the decision of who to pick to compete for the first Reward Challenge. When it came time to decide who would do the puzzle, Morgan yelled "no!" and ducked. Despite that awkward moment, Morgan made several friends on Naviti and appeared to be on the side of Domenick Abbate on the divide he and Chris created following the Reward Challenge. On Day 4, Morgan received the Legacy Advantage from Jacob Derwin of Malolo, who was required to will it to a member of Naviti after receiving it on Ghost Island. This excited but also scared her, since she claimed that she was not good at keeping secrets.
On Day 7, after a Tribe Switch, Morgan remained on Naviti with fellow original tribemates Chris, Domenick, Angela Perkins, and Wendell Holland. Although Morgan intended on using that numbers advantage, she, Domenick, and Wendell were wary of Angela and Chris, with whom they were not close with before the switch. Additionally, Morgan bonded with Libby Vincek due to their similarities as Catholic women and personality. Things got complicated after Naviti lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 9 and via rock draw Chris was sent to Ghost Island. Morgan opted to target Chris's ally Angela so she, Domenick, and Wendell approached original Malolo members Libby, Donathan Hurley, James Lim, and Laurel Johnson to vote out Angela. This, however, gave Malolo the power to take advantage of the numbers situation and vote out any Naviti member of their choice. They settled on Morgan, but Libby tried to shift the target to Angela to keep her new ally Morgan in the game. At Tribal Council, Morgan and Libby talked, somewhat jokingly, about Libby's potential to lie despite her sweet exterior. Ultimately, Libby joined her allies in blindsiding Morgan in a 4-3-1 vote. In her final words, Morgan willed the Legacy Advantage to Domenick.
