Pacifique[]

A member of the Kumo tribe, Mohamed bonded well with Coumba Baradji. When Mohamed captured a goat, Caroline Colusso, who entered the tribe on Day 5 as Aude Réant's replacement, was the only person on her tribe to not want to kill and eat the goat. When the goat was being examined by locals because production was suspicious that it was pregnant, which would force the Kumo tribe to renounce it in that case, Mohamed got angry and aggressively told everybody that he does not want anybody to approach the goat. Noticing that Mohamed had a machete in his hand as he said this, Coumba discreetly snatched it away from him. To the delight of Caroline and the dismay of everybody else on the tribe, they had to renounce the goat because it was pregnant. After the third Immunity Challenge, which the Kumo tribe lost, Denis Brogniart revealed to Mohamed that he would be exiled until Tribal Council as punishment for three related acts: Mohamed strayed from camp for a few hours to hunt for a goat without informing his tribemates nor production, he captured and slightly wounded a pregnant goat, which is a violation of basic hunting rules, and he behaved aggressively and threateningly with the locals who were examining the goat. When exiled, Mohamed cooled off and was humble about his behaviour when arriving at Tribal Council.

When the Kumo tribe won the fourth Reward Challenge on Day 11, which was a 24-hour challenge that the tribes had started the day before and which consisted of tribe members accomplishing certain tasks for points, they were rewarded with the right to permanently kidnap one of the members of the Kanawa tribe as part of a tribe switch. The Kumo tribe chose Jérôme Villaseque, who was the assumed leader of the Kanawa tribe, and he was deemed immune at the next Tribal Council in order to give him a better chance at integrating into his new tribe. When the Kumo tribe lost the fourth Immunity Challenge, Mohamed, who was the assumed leader of the Kumo tribe before Jérôme joined their numbers, was in danger of elimination due to the leadership clash between him and Jérôme. In terms of the leadership position, Mohamed was more supported by Coumba and Sakhone Holaphong and Jérôme was more supported by Clémence Castel, Marie-Cécile Maréchal, and Alexis Tournier. However, most of the tribe decided to prioritize strength and Marie-Cécile was eliminated because her earache was making her a liability because she couldn't participate in a number of challenges because they involved water. The Kumo tribe won the last two Immunity Challenges and he made it to the merge.

Because Mohamed won the first individual Immunity Challenge after the tribes merged, he was not interviewed individually by Ambassadors Alexis and Pierre Vaney because he was ineligible to receive the Ambassadors' vote. At the Ambassadors' Meeting, Alexis and Pierre agreed that Sakhone Holaphong was the only person that they interviewed who didn't seem to have the passion to stay in the game. Pierre insisted on naming Sakhone as the Ambassadors' vote, but Alexis did not initially agree to this because he did not want to leave the original Kumo tribe members vulnerable to a pagonging in case Jérôme were to flip back to his old allies. Alexis conceded on writing Sakhone's name, however, because he knew that if the Ambassadors could not come to a consensus, he would have a fifty-fifty chance of being the Ambassadors' vote himself. When Alexis explained to his fellow original Kumo tribe members why he conceded, Mohamed disagreed with this decision but acknowledged that there was nothing that they could do about it and that they needed to move forward. Regardless, most of the tribe agreed with the Ambassadors about Sakhone's lack of passion and he was eliminated almost unanimously at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. In spite of the general unity behind the first merge elimination, the original Kumo tribe members were vexed at Jérôme because he made it very apparent that he was going to work with his fellow original Kanawa tribe members throughout the merge, such as when he put back on the red shirt that he wore during his time on the Kanawa tribe. When the original Kumo tribe members realized that they could flip Francis Bordas over to their side, they approached him with the possibility of him joining them in voting out Jérôme. In spite of burying the hatchet with the other original Kanawa tribe members a few cycles prior, Francis ultimately flipped on them and Jérôme was voted out.

Throughout the merge, Mohamed won four individual Immunity Challenges, a record that he shares with Claude Dartois from Koh-Lanta: Viêtnam. A few of the individual challenges resulted in Mohamed facing off against Coumba, his closest ally, at the end of them individual challenges. However, due to Coumba's decreasing interest in the game and her closeness and playfulness with Mohamed, she forfeited two of said challenges to the ire of the original Kanawa tribe members. Though Mohamed was left out of the vote that eliminated Coumba, his position in the majority alliance and challenge prowess saw him making it to the finale. He was eliminated at the Final Three when Clémence won the Perch challenge and took Francis to the Final Two instead of him.

Le Choc des Héros[]

Right before the second Reward Challenge, Hot Pursuit, both tribes received a new member. As a returning player, Mohamed was assigned to the Tiac tribe. He was received well by his new tribemates, especially by an estactic Coumba Baradji, who was his closest ally in Pacifique. The Tiac tribe lost this challenge against their rivals, the Malabou tribe, which upsetted Mohamed greatly because he had wanted to start his game on a positive note. In order to prove his worth to his fellow tribemates, he went fishing upon their return to camp.

The next day, the Tiac tribe narrowly won the second Immunity Challenge, earning them safety from Tribal Council again. Going into the third cycle, Mohamed exhibited the same qualities that made him stand out on his previous season; he had leadership ability, but was also somewhat quick on the trigger. Unfortunately for Mohamed, these qualities contributed to his downfall this time. Freddy Boucher was considered the leader of the Tiac tribe, a role that Mohamed wanted to take on, but since he was the newest member of the tribe, Mohamed was not seen as such. This caused Mohamed to have a certain bitterness throughout the cycle and, to make matters worse for him, he had to sit out of both the Reward Challenge, with the exception of the construction of the raft, and the Immunity Challenge as a result of drawing the black rock for the tribe's men on both occasions. The Tiac tribe won the third Reward Challenge, but they were clearly divided by the end of the day with Linda Alario, Freddy, and Grégoire Delachaux in one alliance, Coumba, Christina Chevry, and Mohamed in another, and Christophe Guttatoro-Martin seeming to be a potential swing vote for the two alliances. Coumba and Mohamed made separate attempts to recruit Christophe into their alliance with Mohamed suggesting to him that they take out Freddy, but Christophe responded that he would think about it. Christophe also told Mohamed that taking out Freddy would be a bad idea and that he should be careful not to rebel too much, reminding Mohamed of his own mistake in dealing with Bertrand Bolle on Caramoan.

That night, the Tiac tribe gathered around in order for Mohamed to express his feelings about not being their leader. Eventually, the tribe's conversation turned into a conflict with some tribe members angrily expressing their issues with other tribe members. After losing the third Immunity Challenge the next day, Coumba's alliance planned to target Linda for her conflicts with Christina instead of targeting Freddy while Freddy's alliance planned to target Mohamed for being the perceived catalyst of the tribe's disarray instead of targeting Christina, who had felt like quitting earlier in the competition. At Tribal Council, Christophe sided with Freddy's alliance, resulting in Mohamed's elimination.
