Might as Well Jump is a recurring challenge that debuted in Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers and was used internationally in Survivor South Africa: Immunity Island.

Rules

The castaways must swim out to a platform with crates that they have to jump off to retrieve a set of keys. After that, the castaways must cross a balance beam to retrieve a second set of keys. Using the sets of keys, the castaways must unlock a turnstile puzzle; where they must roll colored balls into corresponding colored spots. The first castaway to solve the puzzle will win immunity.

History

The challenge debuted as the final five Immunity Challenge of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Despite falling behind on the crate jump when retrieving her first set of keys, Chrissy Hofbeck caught up and dominated on the puzzle to win her third Immunity Challenge.

The challenge appeared in Survivor South Africa: Immunity Island, also as the final five Immunity Challenge. Anela Majozi took a slight lead, but lost it to Chappies Chapman at the balance beam. Meanwhile, Nicole Wilmans struggled with grabbing her key, making five jumps to no success. In the end, Chappies solved the puzzle first to win his fourth consecutive Immunity Challenge.
