Michelle Schubert is a contestant from Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.
Initially part of the Vanua majority alliance, Michelle managed to secure her safety into the merge, but was targeted soon after for being aligned with Taylor Stocker, being a social threat, and the fact that she was the least likely to have a Hidden Immunity Idol out of her alliance. She was thus taken out by a coalition of Millennial outsiders and the Takali Alliance, finishing in 13th place.

Name: Michelle Schubert
Age: 28
Current residence: Yakima, WA
Occupation: Missionary recruiter
Tribe designation: Vanua (Millennials)
Three words to describe you: Hungry, hungry, hippo.
Hobbies: I love learning, reading, and dancing. I seek beauty, adventure, and adrenaline. I like nature, exploring, rock climbing, slacklining, and The Settlers Of Catan games. I also study dragons and the stars.
Pet peeves: Windshield wipers on a dry window.
What does it mean to be a Millennial? Being a Millennial means I can think outside the box. It means I won't settle for mediocrity but, rather, strive for the best outcome. It also means I know what a hashtag is and how to fix just about anything using YouTube or Google.
Personal claim to fame: Travelling two months in Europe by myself for less than $3000—including airfare!—or winning two state cross-country championships.
Inspiration in life: Can I say God? He created everything we've ever seen, touched, and experienced. He knows everything there is to know about everything... because he created it. He must be big, intelligent, majestic, and awesome.
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? A good book to stimulate me mentally, spiritually, philosophically; waterproof mascara because I want to stay hot, especially on TV; and a large comfy bed.
Survivor contestant you're most like: "Boston" Rob Mariano (Marquesas, All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains, Redemption Island) because of his puzzle game, ability to lead people, control decisions.
Reason for being on Survivor: A challenging and exciting adventure—and money!
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I'm cunning and able to catch on quickly. I also have a unique ability to cause people to trust me and feel comfortable around me. For the physical aspect, I can take anything.[2]
Survivor[]
As a Millennial, Michelle was initially placed on the Vanua tribe. She meshed well with Jay Starrett and Taylor Stocker, with the three eventually forming the Triforce alliance. After Vanua lost the second Immunity Challenge on Day 7, Jay informed Michelle that one of their alliance members, Figgy Figueroa, was being targeted by those not in their alliance. They thus decided to target Mari Takahashi for being a strategic threat, with Michelle scrambling to flip Will Wahl to the Triforce's side before Tribal Council. At Tribal Council, she and Jay successfully pressured Hannah Shapiro into siding with them, blindsiding Mari in a 7-3 vote. After Tribal Council, Will and Michaela Bradshaw aligned with the Triforce, giving the alliance control of the Vanua tribe.
When the Tribe Switch occurred on Day 13, Michelle and Zeke Smith remained on Vanua, but found themselves outnumbered by original Takali members CeCe Taylor, Chris Hammons, and David Wright. After Vanua lost the next Immunity Challenge, the Takali contingent originally decided on targeting Michelle due to Chris's bond with Zeke. However, Chris later decided to side with Michelle and Zeke in targeting CeCe for her poor challenge performances and pulled in David. At Tribal Council, the four banded together to blindside CeCe out of the game. In the coming days, Michelle found herself on the outs of her tribe, particularly after her ally Figgy expressed joy at the next Reward Challenge in seeing that Michelle had been saved at the previous Tribal Council, irritating Zeke, who wanted to target her for her connections with the Triforce. However, Michelle was spared when Vanua managed to win the next two Immunity Challenges.
When the tribes merged into the Vinaka tribe on Day 21, Michelle regrouped with her Triforce alliance, which had since lost Figgy and Michaela. After the Immunity Challenge, Jay and Taylor wanted to target Adam Klein, but Michelle thought that this was not a strategic move but a personal one due to Adam's role in voting out Figgy. The Millennials had a 7-6 advantage, but the two factions within the original Vanua tribe were unwilling to work together. At Tribal Council, she along with her alliance, voted for Adam, but the others targeted Michelle because they believed that she was the least likely to have a Hidden Immunity Idol, so Michelle was blindsided in a 9-4 vote, becoming the first member of the jury.
At the Final Tribal Council, Michelle asked Hannah which vote she was on the wrong side of and Adam why his successes overshadowed his blunders. She voted for Adam to win to become the Sole Survivor, which he did in a unanimous 10-0-0 vote.
