Koh-Lanta[]
Michel was one of the leading voices of the Machiga tribe and they won the first Immunity Challenge against the chaotic Boro tribe. Socially, he wasn't in danger of going home, but Sophie Guilloix and Isabelle Seguin were irritated by him because he had intentions of targeting them due to their perceived weakness in challenges. At some point, Michel wounded his thumb and Valérie Dot suggested that he show it to the medics, but he didn't do that. This came back to bite him because, after his tribe lost the third Immunity Challenge, his wound worsened to the point where he finally showed it to a medic upon Valérie's insistence. At elimination, Denis Brogniart told Michel that, after deliberation, the medics deemed him unfit to continue competing due to the severity of his thumb wound and he was officially pulled from the game. His unorthodox elimination allowed for Sébastien Loew to return to the game in his place.
