I would argue that the Immunity Challenge featured in the latest episode, Time to Bring About the Charmpocalypse is more similar to Roll With It (Samoa & Heroes vs. Villains) than Blind Leading the Blind. Both Blind Barrow and the former contain the specific elements of navigating the caller through a course, and then commanding blindfolded members to maneuver a ball through a tilting maze (differentiating it from the Game Changers variation). I see those two defining objectives as making it closer to a variation of Roll With It than it being this season's Blind Leading the Blind. If not, than what would designate Blind Leading the Blind and Roll With It as two separate challenges to begin with?
After this episode's Reward Challenge was re-categorized as an Air Raid variation, it got me thinking... isn't Audio Slave (from the previous episode) just another variation of the Over-Extended challenge present in the last few seasons?
Both challenges share the same basic concept of balancing a statue on/with a pole. It's remarkably similar to the MvGX/HvHvH variants with the balance beam, and the statues being balanced horizontally, but it also appears to be a fusion with Samoa's original concept for it; contestants were once against balancing the statue solely on the pole itself.
I think that the challenge is close enough to Over-Extended that it could be considered a variant of it. Before I make any changes, I was just wondering if anyone agreed/disagreed with my view on it?
