Due to being aged under 30, Mel was placed on the Coravu tribe. During the second cycle, Mel got into a conflict with Marvyn Leone over the latter seemingly hogging some food and being rude about it and she became determined to eliminate him. Though Mel eventually calmed down, after the Coravu tribe lost the second immunity challenge, she still recruited people to participate in a blindside against Marvyn as she noticed that he seemed to be the leader of an emerging trio with Théotime Bernardin and André Deleplace. While the majority of the tribe put up a front that joker contestant May Peitavi would be the easy target going into Tribal Council, Mel got her way and Marvyn was blindsided. The next cycle, Marvyn returned to the game after Thomas Hébert was permanently evacuated after it was revealed that he had perforated his eardrum in a prior underwater challenge, putting Mel in a potentially awkward situation. Unfortunately, instead of taking responsibility for Marvyn's blindside, Mel tried to shift the blame onto May when talking to him about it and Marvyn did not believe her. This caused Mel and May to come into conflict with each other and the two women turned against each other. Therefore, after the Coravu tribe lost the third immunity challenge, Mel and her allies targeted May while May defected to Marvyn's alliance and they targeted Mel, leaving Magalie Gustave as the swing vote. At Tribal Council, Magalie voted with Marvyn's alliance, eliminating Mel decisively.
