Mehdi
27 ans
Chauffeur poids-lourds
Lot-et-Garonne (47)
Koh-Lanta[]
Representing the west of France, Mehdi was placed on the Kanluran tribe. Mehdi and his tribemates had a difficult start to the game as they finished last in the first reward challenge and were forced to spend 24 hours on Exile Island as a result. This initial struggle united them as a tribe, but that was not enough and they also finished last in the first immunity challenge due in part to Mehdi. After a few rough days during which she felt sick, Cynthiana Steinbach seemed to be the obvious target, so she began to look for a Hidden Immunity Necklace. Later, making it seem that she had found a Hidden Immunity Necklace that she could use to "idol out" someone at the upcoming Tribal Council, Cynthiana approached Mehdi and the latter suggested that they both vote against Jérôme Salvatore because he wanted to prevent an alliance from forming between Maël Lozach, Romane Ouvrard, and Jérôme, the last of whom he felt would be the glue of the group. At Tribal Council, Mehdi stuck to the plan and voted against Jérôme, but Cynthiana did not follow through and voted against Mehdi because she had failed to find anything. Ultimately, Cynthiana was voted out by the majority of the tribe and, before leaving, she gifted Mehdi with a coconut. Upon returning to camp, the Kanluran tribe correctly deduced that the vote against Jérôme came from Mehdi. the following day, Mehdi explained to Jérôme why he had done so and the latter seemingly let the issue go. In terms of challenges, the Kanluran tribe caught a break when they won the second reward challenge, but this didn't last long as they finished last yet again in the second immunity challenge thanks to a very poor performance from Noémie Bessec. Initially, Noémie seemed doomed, but Mehdi, who was not as well integrated as the rest of his tribe members, worsened his social positioning by telling Romane that Maël was ultimately wanting for the men to stick together and to vote out the women, which was not true, in an attempt to get a potential target off of his own back. With this recent lie compounding onto his previous strategy with Cynthiana, Mehdi was deemed disloyal and was unanimously voted out by his tribemates at Tribal Council.
However, after Allan Rouseeuw was evacuated on Day 6, Mehdi returned to the game in his place on Hilaga.
