Dans les Vosges Maxime ne passe pas inaperçu. Surnommé « l’Américain », il se balade en pick-up avec sa salopette et son chapeau de cowboy ! Passionné de pêche, il adore son poste de responsable de communication pour la fédération de pêche des Vosges qu’il ne quitterait sous aucun prétexte, si ce n’est pour réaliser son rêve : ouvrir une friperie spécialisée en vêtements américains vintages. Solitaire, Maxime est très proche de sa maman malade. En faisant Koh-Lanta il veut lui montrer que rien n’est insurmontable, et qu’il peut faire preuve de courage, tout comme elle au quotidien. Maxime veut remporter le titre, pour sa maman. ^[1]

^1 In "Episode 6", Andréa used a Hidden Immunity Necklace, negating Maxime's vote against her. Also, the vote ended with a 1-1-1-0 tie between Jérôme M., Joana and Pauline, forcing a revote. Maxime changed his vote to Pauline on the revote.
