Age: 27
Maryse started the game on the Kalooban tribe, where she gradually developed a bond with Sylvain Béland. Maryse was in the know about the Kalooban tribe's first two eliminations, however, she eventually got blindsided when the rest of the tribe decided to join the apparent strategic leader, Denis Potapov, in voting out her closest ally, Sylvain. Fortunately, Sylvain was not eliminated like other voted out contestants up until that point and he was instead transferred to the rival Tiyaga tribe. There, Sylvain used his newfound position to confirm to the rest of the Tiyaga tribe that Denis was as strategic as they thought he was, which incited Sango Bien-Aimé and Jean-Junior Morin to try to make Maryse feel safe when they raided Kalooban as part of their reward. At the same time, the rest of the Kalooban tribe was beginning to pick up on how Denis seemed to have everybody in his back pocket and how it would be impossible for him to please everybody in the long run. As such, after the Kalooban tribe lost the seventh Immunity Challenge, most of its members let Martine Larose Reda and Denis feel comfortable about voting out Maryse while, in reality, they planned to and succeeded in blindsiding Denis.
On Day 16, a tribe switch occurred, sending Maryse to the Tiyaga tribe alongside two other Kalooban women and four original Tiyaga tribe members. Though the situation seemed bleak for the three original Kalooban women, the sole female original Tiyaga tribe member on their new tribe, Marika Guay, felt that she was at the bottom of her original alliance and wanted to throw these women a lifeline. Thus, after the Tiyaga tribe lost the eighth immunity challenge, Marika plotted with them to vote against Christophe Tiffet at Tribal Council as they were predicting that Sango would play his Hidden Immunity Idol on their ideal target, Jean-Junior. However, without Marika's knowledge, Karine Lavigne-Fortin became interested in working with the men and leaked the plan to them, prompting them to turn on Marika. At Tribal Council, Karine confirmed her allegiance to the men by voting against Marika with them, eliminating her in a narrow 4-3 vote. Maryse was initially next in line to be eliminated after the Tiyaga tribe lost the following Immunity Challenge as well, but this eventually shifted to Martine thanks to Maryse's newfound closeness to Sango and her passionate plea at Tribal Council which contrasted Martine's halfhearted one.
When the tribes merged into Pag-Asa, Christophe's majority alliance, which now also included Maryse and Karine, was able to regroup; they recruited yet another new member into their fold, Justine Turpin. Joël Dandurand was their first target for elimination, but when he won the first individual Immunity Challenge, they split the votes between Sylvain and Nicolas Brunette instead. Sylvain was voted out for a second time and, without the Pag-Asa tribe's knowledge, sent to Redemption Island. In a surprise Double Elimination, the Tiyaga Alliance immediately had another chance to vote out Joël after he lost the intervening Immunity Challenge. The alliance split their votes between Nicolas and Joël; Joël played his Hidden Immunity Idol for himself and Sango played his own for Kimberly Fortin in order to establish loyalty. As a result, Nicolas was eliminated as collateral damage.
With nine contestants remaining in the main game, Sango wanted to make a move, so he took advantage of a reward that he shared with Sandrine, Maryse, and Justine; the four agreed to work with Joël to blindside Jean-Junior at the next Tribal Council. After Jean-Junior won the following individual Immunity Challenge, their target switched to Christophe. However, Justine preferred to work with Christophe's group in the long run and leaked Sango's conspiracy to them. Thus, with the majority alliance pivoted to targeting Sango instead of Joël at the next Tribal Council. Indeed, Sango was voted out in a narrow 5-4 vote and sent to Redemption Island.
With Maryse now relegated to a new minority with Joël and Sandrine, the trio tried to take advantage of Sandrine's Extra Vote at the next Tribal Council to turn the tides. They failed and Joël was voted out. Maryse would in turn be voted out herself a cycle later. Maryse was sent to Redemption Island and lost the next day's duel, becoming the third member of the jury.
At the Final Tribal Council, Maryse cast her vote for Nicolas to win the title of Sole Survivor; he won in a 6-1-1 vote over Christophe and Kimberly.
