Mais pour cet ambitieux optimiste, une fromagerie ça n'est pas assez, il en ouvre donc rapidement une deuxième, et une troisième est en projet. Impatient, il faut que les choses soient toujours en mouvement pour Martin. Avide de grands espaces et de grands défis, quoi de mieux que Koh-Lanta pour repousser ses limites !^[1]

Martin was selected by Helena Roosen to be a part of the Tinago tribe. As the most adept of the men on his tribe in challenges, Martin never found himself in danger and survived the first few cycles without receiving any votes cast against him. At the Final Sixteen, a tribe switch took place and Martin was assigned by Rudy Noël to be a member of the second Paniman tribe. Though Martin was now in the minority alongside Julie Debever and Christine Mayonnade against five original Paniman tribe members, the second Paniman tribe won the next two Immunity Challenges.

During the tribal reward challenge of the sixth cycle, Martin sprained his ankle, which forced him to sit out of the following individual challenge for the Sacred Fire Talisman. Unfortunately for Martin, when it was time for the corresponding Immunity Challenge, Denis Brogniart confirmed that he was not cleared to compete in that challenge either. With his injury forcing Martin to sit out of two challenges, the medics determined that the sprain was going to need more time to heal and, in turn, Martin was permanently evacuated from the game. His unorthodox elimination allowed for Rudy to return to the game in his place.
