As a core member of the Zamba Alliance, Marisha had a clear trajectory to the end alongside her allies Amy Eliason and Nicole Wilmans. However, the rival Vuna Alliance identified her as the "alpha female" of the Zambas and strategically used their Hidden Immunity Idol to blindside her at Osindile's first Tribal Council.

'Boervrou and guest house owner' Marisha du Plessis (35, from Tulbagh) describes herself as 'outgoing, strong and very driven' – and hates being told she cannot or may not do something.
