Marie was selected by Camille Sold to be a part of the Sungaï tribe. Early in the game, Marie managed to spearhead an alliance with Ugo Latriche, Brice Martinet, and Javier Rodriguez, however, outsiders of this alliance grew annoyed by Marie's cold, brash, and dictatorial demeanour. When previously banished contestants Philippe Bizet and Élodie Sadeler were integrated into the Sungaï tribe, Marie maintained a suspicious attitude concerning Philippe and, after the tribe lost the third Immunity Challenge, she made it clear to the pair that one of them would be eliminated that cycle. Marie ultimately got her way and Élodie was voted out at the corresponding Tribal Council, but she was initially on the chopping block herself because Vanessa Alvarez and Catherine Perez had considered making a move on Marie with other people outside of Marie's alliance before deciding against it. In the sixth and final cycle before the merge, Camille put a target on her own back as she was contributing to camp life less and she panicked in a couple of challenges. However, after the Sungaï tribe lost the corresponding Immunity Challenge, Marie, who was already aware that she was on the chopping block in the third cycle, wanted to protect her positioning so she told Vanessa that Catherine had told her that Vanessa approached Catherine with the idea to target Marie in the third cycle. Though this was true, it was Catherine who had revisited the idea before the pair had abandoned it and, as Marie wanted, the pair had a conflict over who was responsible. At Tribal Council, Marie and most of her alliance voted against Charles Clément and they expected Catherine to do the same. However, Catherine and the rest of the Sungaï tribe members outside of Marie's alliance voted out Marie as they had caught on to her machinations and wanted to break up her alliance. For unknown reasons, Marie was not present for the live final vote count in Paris.
