Age: 46
Emplacement: Blainville
Marie-Noëlle was placed on the Nawa tribe. A superfan of the game, Marie-Noëlle noticed Caroline Landry walking in the forest and figured that she was looking for a Hidden Immunity Idol because she was near a weird-looking tree. When Caroline walked off, Marie-Noëlle examined the tree and found a clue to one for herself. When the Nawa tribe strategized before the first Immunity Challenge, everyone was cagey about being assigned to the puzzle section because of its reputation as a game ender for a number of contestants voted out early in the U.S. version of the series. Regardless, Marie-Noëlle reluctantly agreed to do the puzzle once someone pointed out that she could be good at it. At this point, she took over the conversation, asking for Dominic Simard to be her partner because he is tall like her while shutting down the idea of Caroline being on the puzzle section as well.
The Nawa tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge and, upon returning to camp, Ghyslain Octeau-Piché formed an alliance with Kassandre Bastarache, Nabil Elbied, Caroline, and Jean-Michel Robichaud. Almost immediately, Caroline pitched Marie-Noëlle as a target to her allies, the reason being that the latter had rubbed her the wrong way with her somewhat domineering attitude. To make Marie-Noëlle feel comfortable, the alliance asked her many questions regarding who should go home, to which she had no response. Ironically, this made her realize that she was in danger because she was not hearing any names from anyone either. When it had spread to the rest of the tribe that Marie-Noëlle would be the vote, Desneiges Paquin told Marie-Noëlle this information, but also told her that she would join in on the vote in order to not rock the boat even though she did not want to see her go. Desneiges had relayed this information to Marie-Noëlle because she wanted her to go looking for a Hidden Immunity Idol to protect herself, which she ultimately failed to find in time.
At Tribal Council, Marie-Noëlle pulled out her clue and implied that she might play an advantage that evening, inciting Desneiges to whisper into Jean-Michel's ear to try to flip the vote onto or at least move a few votes onto Caroline. Most of the tribe started whispering to each other and, when it was finished, Marie-Noëlle changed her tactics. In order to give her tribemates an incentive to keep her, Marie-Noëlle revealed that what she had pulled out was simply a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol and read to them part of the clue, promising to read the rest should she return to camp so that one of them could find it. Believing that she was not tricking them, the rest of the tribe abandoned any split vote plan and Marie-Noëlle was voted out unanimously.
