Margaret Bobonich is a contestant from Survivor: Guatemala.

Despite being a helpful member of her tribe due to being an experienced nurse, Margaret's fate was sealed after Judd Sergeant betrayed her alliance. His flip caused a rivalry between the two where, at Tribal Council, her tribe decided to keep Judd for being a bigger asset.

Margaret Bobonich grew up in a large family with eight children. Although she calls Saratoga Springs, New York, home, her family moved around a lot because of her father's career. They spent great summers and holidays in the New York City and the New Jersey area with their extended family.

After graduating high school, Bobonich went on to study nursing at the University of Charleston and West Virginia University. The first sixteen years of her career were spent in Emergency and Aeromedical nursing. In 1998, she decided to return to school at Case Western Reserve University, where she completed her master's degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, she has enjoyed a fulfilling career in both private practice and free clinic settings. She spends every week at the Lake County Free Medical Clinic of Northeast Ohio. Together with other community professionals, she provides health care to families who otherwise could not afford it.

Bobonich currently resides in Chardon, Ohio with her husband, Steve, and their two sons, Mike and Chase. They have two dogs, Dozer and Lilly. The family enjoys attending athletic events and taking adventure vacations that involve activities like scuba diving, playing beach volleyball or zipping through a rainforest. Bobonich's birth date is June 5, 1962.[1]

Margaret was placed on the Nakúm tribe and was originally viewed as the "Camp Nurse" after tending to many of the men who had a hard time recovering from the 11-mile hike. Margaret voted with the rest of the tribe to eliminate Jim Lynch and then won the next two Immunity Challenges. A tribal swap occurred, and Margaret remained on Nakúm with former tribemates Cindy Hall, Judd Sergeant, and Brooke Struck. On the new Nakúm tribe, the numbers were tied at 4-4 between the former Yaxhá and Nakúm members.

Margaret urged Brooke, Cindy, and Judd to stay with Nakúm during the tribe's first Tribal Council, but Judd flipped and voted with the former Yaxhá, angering Margaret. She felt betrayed by Judd and often got into many confrontations with him. In a double Tribal Council twist, Nakúm was sent to Tribal Council again. Margaret and Judd continued to bicker, mostly surrounding Judd's hyperactivity and problems with recall. However, Judd's alliance pulled through for him and Margaret was voted out unanimously.
