Manuel González ha sido el decimoctavo concursante confirmado de Supervivientes 2025. El gaditano se dio a conocer en televisión gracias a su paso por Mujeres y hombres y viceversa, programa en el que fue pretendiente. Pero sin duda, su gran salto televisivo iba a llegar en la edición de La isla de las tentaciones que tuvo lugar en 2020. Entró con la que era su novia en aquel momento, Lucía Sánchez, y se hizo viral su famoso grito: "Manuel, la manita relajá".
Posteriormente, formó parte de realities como Solos/solas o Pesadilla en el paraíso, entre otros, además de Gran Hermano Dúo, hasta su participación de nuevo en la última edición de La isla de las tentaciones 8, esta vez entrando como tentador y dando un vuelco totalmente a la villa al conseguir una historia amorosa de principio a fin con Anita (novia de Montoya al comenzar la edición de La isla de las tentaciones).
"Soy Manuel y soy nuevo concursante de Supervivientes 2025. Este era mi sueño, saltar desde el helicóptero y convertirme en superviviente. Os lo dejo todo en vuestras manos, nos vemos en la final", asegura en su vídeo presentación.[2]

Manuel entered the island on Day 7, fresh after shocking many viewers by rejecting Anita on La isla de las tentaciones. Upon arriving, he immediately got into a fast-paced argument with José Carlos Montoya, with Jorge Javier Vázquez being unable to shut them up. A few days later, the show Tardear revealed that Montoya and Manuel had bumped into each other at a gig a couple of weeks before, thus raising stakes once more.[3]
By Sunday night the pair had largely patched things up, to the extent that Manuel could act as a mediator between Anita and Montoya when they had an argument once more. At their first reward challenge, Manuel was the first to leave.[4]
