La Isla: El Reality[]
Manuel was initially part of the Godínez tribe. When his tribe lost both Immunity Challenges, he was loyal to the leader of the tribe, Aristeo Cázares, by voting for Antonieta Serdán and Carmen Pino in the third and fifth Trials, respectively. At the tribe switch, he was chosen by Fernanda de la Mora to be on the Pudientes tribe, along with Carmen and Teresa Munguía. They lost the Immunity Challenge, and Manuel didn't feel in trouble. But on the sixth Trial, he was nominated along with Fernanda. On the only Deathly Duel he attended, Manuel decided to throw the challenge and help Fernanda, as he thought that his boss back in Mexico wouldn't let him stay any longer. When he was offered the Returning Challenge, he denied it, so he became the sixth person eliminated from La Isla 2017.
