Story

“	In a rare move, a very hungry Hunahpu tribe makes a desperate trade for rice. Meanwhile, one castaway on the Coyopa tribe concocts a plan to use a fake idol to try and insure their safety.	”

Challenge: More Than A Feeling
One person from each tribe will be blindfolded. They will race through a series of obstacles to a station where they will find a mask. They will study the mask using their fingers. Next, they will untie bags of puzzle pieces and head back through the obstacles to a second station where they will use those pieces to recreate the mask. The first person to get it right wins reward.
Reward: A barbecue feast
Winner: Hunahpu (Reed Kelly chose Natalie Anderson to accompany Baylor Wilson to Exile Island)

Challenge: Flips, Flops & Flags
Each tribe will race up and over a tall wall. Each tribe will then work together to push a large wooden cube to a series of posts. At each post, they will grab a bag of puzzle pieces. Once they've collected all three bags, then two tribe members will use the scrolls inside to solve a flag puzzle. The first tribe to get it right wins immunity.
Winner: Hunahpu

I tried everything I could but it was an uphill battle today. This game was everything and more than I ever expected it would be. I can't wait to talk to Kelley. We're going to have a long talk tonight.	”

• The name of the Reward Challenge, More Than a Feeling, references the Boston song of the same name.
• This episode has the first and only Hero Duel between non-loved ones in the season.
• With Dale's elimination, the Wentworths are the first pair of loved ones to be completely eliminated from the game.
• At the beginning of Jon's confessional just before Tribal Council, there is a brief instant where he is shown wearing the merged Huyopa buff around his neck when he is saying "Jaclyn and I once again find ourselves in the middle." This suggests that footage from beyond the merge, which has yet to happen at this point in the game, was edited into this confessional.
• The episode title is said by Jeremy about the possibility of reaching the merge without numbers.
