Russell Hantz is a contestant from Survivor: Samoa, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Survivor: Redemption Island and Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders (2018).
Infamous for his unabashedly ruthless game play, Russell was particularly known for intentionally causing chaos in the game, from sabotaging his tribemates' personal items, to deliberately intimidating them. While he was lauded for his successes in strategy and discovery of Hidden Immunity Idols unaided by clues, his indurate approach to the game met controversy among his peers, which denied him of the title of Sole Survivor in his two first two occasions and got him promptly eliminated in the next two. His legacy is greatly disputed by Survivor fans, being the center of debate regarding game ethics and worthiness of a finalist to be a Survivor winner. |
