A strong social player, Maey integrated herself with the power players in the game, which insulated her from receiving any votes and resulted in Maey to be the last remaining pair along with her friend and ally Betong Sumaya Jr.. Being considered as the more threatening of the pair with Betong and committing a fatal strategic error of giving back the Hidden Immunity Idol to Mara Yokohama, Maey was promptly voted out by the majority alliance on day 32.
