La Isla: El Reality[]
Luis was the captain of the Banda tribe. At the Captains' Challenge, he quickly won the challenge a got the Totem's Power. He took the role of captain in his tribe until he injured his hand in a fit of anger to lose a challenge. In pre-merge, his hand healed and became one of the strongest men in his tribe.
At the seventh Trial, the Pudientes tribe chose to nominate him for being a physical threat and also for him ego. Luis won the duel and returned to the game.
Before the merge, the contestants were informed that there would be a Merging Challenge, where the winner will win MXN$50,000, while the loser will be eliminated one challenge short of the merge. Luis showed his great performance and won the money.
Luis maintained his excellent performance at the merge and won several challenges. Their coexistence was not very good, many contestants considered him egomaniac and rude. At the Finalists' Week, he won the second challenge and rested all that week.
At the Finale, he was up against Facundo Gómez, Sebastián Pastrana and Fernanda de la Mora. Luis remained in first place in the challenge, Facundo tried to reach him, but Luis did not allow it and proving his great strength won the title of Sole Survivor of La Isla 2017. Taking to home MXN$2,050,000 and a latest car model.
