Louw Venter is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.
The de facto leader of the Timbila tribe, Louw put together a strong five-person alliance on his tribe which held together despite his susceptibility to paranoia and difficulty with controlling his temper, especially when it came to his rivalry with Chibudu's Okkert Brits. When the tribes merged with even numbers, Louw helped his alliance gain the numbers' advantage by winning the tiebreaker challenge at the first merge Tribal Council and proceeded to draw a line in the sand with the former Chibudus. However, he was blindsided when Izak Davel betrayed his alliance by forcing a tie, causing Louw to be eliminated by the past votes tiebreaker.

Claim to Fame: Louw Venter is the co-creator of the The Most Amazing Show and one-half of the larger-than-life comedy duo Corné and Twakkie. When he doesn't hide behind Corné's moustache and ridiculous outfits, he pops up in feature films. He played in John Boorman's In my country with Julliete Binoche; opposite Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player; Crazy Monkey's Straight Outta Benoni; and more recently, in Bunny Chow and Rainbow Skellums.

Charity: MyLifE Foundation – a three stage holistic healing program built on the African concept of UBUNTU. The foundation works from the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. For that reason their healing Villages is a haven for both empowered and vulnerable youth. Their goal is to create a local solution to a Global crisis that now sees 150 million children living on our streets in utter hopelessness.
Factoid: Louw has gone through a myriad of professions, including copywriter; graphic designer; illustrator; and eventually actor and writer.

^1 In Episode 7, the vote ended with a 5-5 tie between Louw and Hanna. Due to both having no votes previously cast against them, a tiebreaker challenge was conducted. Louw won the tiebreaker and remained in the game.
