The tribes will carry logs through an obstacle course. These logs will be used to form a set of monkey bars, which the tribe will cross before continuing with a final task. In Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains, the tribes carried a ladder instead of logs.
History[]
Australia[]
In the challenge's debut in Australian Survivor (2016), the tribes each carried two logs across an obstacle course. They then fitted the logs into an overhead frame, after which each tribe member used two wooden rungs to cross the frame like monkey bars. Afterwards, the tribes used the rungs to complete a bridge. Two tribe members then raced to solve a vertical puzzle of an octopus. The physically superior Saanapu continued their dominant winning streak, sending Vavau back to Tribal Council.
In Heroes v Villains, the logs were replaced with a ladder, and the final task was now a variation of Rock Block, where tribe members had to throw sandbags to break tile targets. As the Villains struggled on the monkey bars, the Heroes blew past them to win their third consecutive Immunity Challenge.
South Africa[]
In Philippines, the challenge was used as a combined Reward and Immunity Challenge. Jeanne Michel's short stature held Luzon back on the monkey bars, while Mindanao capitalized on their lead to score yet another first-place finish. In the end, Palesa Tau and Murishca Martheze blew Visayas' lead over Luzon at the puzzle, allowing Luzon to finish in second place.
