Lauren Rimmer is a contestant from Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
Even though she initially appeared to be on the outs on the Yawa tribe, Lauren managed to prove herself to be socially savvy and a major challenge asset. Following a tribe switch and shortly-thereafter a merge, Lauren formed a tight relationship with Ben Driebergen. Together, they joined the Solewa majority alliance and began to systematically take out the original Soko tribe. However, after forming a sub-alliance with Ashley Nolan and Devon Pinto, and gathering an Extra Vote advantage and a Hidden Immunity Idol, Lauren was deemed as too big of a threat and after giving away half of her Hidden Immunity Idol to Mike Zahalsky, she was eliminated in an unprecedented 1-0 vote following an idol play by Ben.

Age: 35
Hometown: Beaufort, N.C.
Current Residence: Beaufort, N.C.
Occupation: Fisherman
Hobbies: Softball, traveling, and gardening. And anything to do with a boat.
Pet peeves: Laziness, low work ethic, and people who are not organized.
Three words to describe you: Outgoing, adventurous, and easygoing.
What's your personal claim to fame? My daughter. She is determined, smart, and my driving force.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My mother is my hero because I have seen her struggle my entire life to make sure that I had everything I needed. She has taught me to be a strong, independent woman with morals and a high determination to overcome any struggle that may come my way.
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? First would be a picture of my daughter to have determination every day. Next would be a toothbrush because I want clean teeth. And finally, sunglasses for comfort since I wear them every day. I am in the sun all day and my eyes cannot take the constant exposure.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? None of them. I always try to do things differently than other people.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? I want to test myself and to see what I am made of after all of these years of having to survive for myself in real life. I would put my years of hard work to use. Also, getting to travel to exotic locations which is normally unattainable to me.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I have always been a survivor and everything I have obtained was through perseverance, personal risk (through all climate and weather conditions), hard work and working with the public. I have always put myself on the line and always will.[2]
Survivor[]
Starting on the Yawa tribe, Lauren took a disliking to Patrick Bolton for his unpredictability, and felt that she was not in the group. When Yawa lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 6, Lauren wanted to target Patrick, but at Tribal Council, she joined the majority in voting out the weakest link, Simone Nguyen. Yawa lost immunity again on Day 8, and at Tribal Council, after some verbal jousting, Lauren's plan of voting out Patrick was accomplished.
During the Tribe Switch on Day 9, Lauren was the only original Yawa member to remain with her tribe. While she appeared to be in the minority along with Ben Driebergen, against the original Soko majority of Cole Medders, Jessica Johnston, and Mike Zahalsky, Cole's antics rubbed people the wrong way, though Yawa won the next three Immunity Challenges, avoiding Tribal Council.
After the tribes merged into the Solewa tribe on Day 17, Lauren and Ben found themselves the swing votes between the alliance of the original Soko members and the alliance of the original Yawa and Levu members. While Lauren wanted to side with the Soko alliance, she and Ben sided with the latter group and blindsided Soko member Jessica at the first post-merge Tribal Council. The following day, she found a secret advantage at camp, which was turned out to be an Extra Vote, though in order for her to use it, she would have to abstain from voting at the next Tribal Council. She told Ben about the advantage, and abstained from voting at the next Tribal Council, partially causing a tie between Desi Williams and Joe Mena, with Desi being eliminated on the revote. On Day 24, Lauren defeated Cole to win immunity, contributing to his elimination at the subsequent Tribal Council.
On Day 25, Lauren won the Reward Challenge and chose to share the reward with Ben, Devon Pinto, and Ashley Nolan. On the reward trip, she formed a final four alliance with them and proposed that they turn against the majority alliance and target the trio of Chrissy Hofbeck, JP Hilsabeck, and Ryan Ulrich, using minority members Mike and Joe in doing so. At Tribal Council, Lauren's alliance blindsided JP. After Chrissy won the following Immunity Challenge, Lauren told her alliance about her Extra Vote. The alliance told Mike and Joe that the Extra Vote would be used to split the votes between Ben and Ryan, though the alliance was really targeting Joe. In private, Ashley told Lauren she was having second thoughts about staying loyal to Ben. However, at Tribal Council, Ryan played his Hidden Immunity Idol and the alliance stayed loyal to Ben, blindsiding Joe.
On Day 31, Lauren met her sister Sunny at the Loved Ones Challenge. However, she failed to win the challenge. At camp, she, along with Ben and Devon, searched for the Hidden Immunity Idol, which she found, although it turned out to be only half of one, with the other half located at the next Immunity Challenge. At the challenge, Lauren dropped out but managed to find the second half of the idol. At camp, after Ben overheard a discussion between Lauren, Ashley, and Devon about blindsiding him, Ben felt betrayed and told Mike about Lauren's Extra Vote and Hidden Immunity Idol and proposed that they target her. After Lauren caught wind of the plan, she gave Mike half of her idol in order to gain his trust. At Tribal Council, Lauren called out Ben for exposing her advantage. Mike threw his half of the idol into the fire, leaving Lauren vulnerable. While half the tribe contemplated voting against Lauren, everyone voted against Ben for being untrustworthy. However, Ben played his own idol, which negated the six votes cast against him, and his sole vote sent Lauren out of the game with the unused Extra Vote still in her possession.[3]
At the Final Tribal Council, she criticized and expressed her confusion to Ryan for not doing work around camp, and praised Chrissy for her challenge performances. She voted for Ben, contributing to his 5-2-1 victory.
