2024[]

Laura was not admitted to the tribes playing the main game, along with fellow returning player Kiko Jiménez. Laura was involved in a minor controversy when Lorena Morlote arrived on Playa Limbo, as Lorena and Laura's sister had a well-publicised falling-out in 2020, however both parties agreed to put it to one side. Lorena was voted out soon afterwards.

Laura and Kiko became close as the series unfolded. She received the most votes to leave on Day 38, with Kiko especially surprised at the vote (having expected Arantxa del Sol to leave). Laura was popular with many fans on social media, contributing to the general surprise from viewers who also expected Arantxa to go.[2][3]

In a twist on Day 42, Laura was invited back into the game after winning a public vote, replacing Mario González and filling the spot left after Carmen Borrego quit on Day 21.[4] She returned to the game on Day 45.

After her return, Laura suggested that the public did not take well to her regular disagreements with other castaways, including Kiko Jiménez (with whom she eventually made peace), and especially Miri Pérez-Cabrero. She was voted out for the second time on Day 63.[5][6]

Post-Supervivientes[]

After her exit in 2024, Laura admitted that she wanted either Aurah Ruiz or Kiko Jiménez to win the series, preferably the former yet the latter would be acceptable.[7] Her father, TV personality and 2022 contestant, Kiko Matamoros, revealed that he had wanted to return to Honduras in 2024 to support Laura, but declined as Telecinco had banned him from appearing on the network.[8]
