La Isla de los FamoS.O.S. 1 is the third season of Supervivientes.
After 35 days, Daniela Cardone defeated Ismael Beiro and Miguel Temprano in a public vote to become the Sole Survivor.
Production[]
La Isla de los FamoS.O.S. 1 is the first season to be broadcast on the Spanish network Antena 3 instead of Telecinco, which broadcast the previous two seasons. This season was filmed in Samaná, Dominican Republic. The prize for the winner was €60,000 - equivalent to roughly US$90,000 in 2023.
Twists/Changes[]
- Celebrity Contestants: Instead of regular citizens, this season's cast was comprised of celebrities or previous Spanish reality TV show contestants.
- No Tribes: Unlike the previous two seasons, this season featured no tribes.
- Nominations: Every elimination in this season was decided by a public vote. Tribal Council would occur as normal, with the person receiving the most votes being the first nominee for elimination. Secondly, a leadership challenge would occur. The winner of this challenge would nominate a second castaway. The public would then vote for the castaway they would like to see eliminated. The castaway who received the most votes would be eliminated.
- Replacement: After a contestant quit, a new castaway entered the game in their place.
- Final Three: The winner would be decided by a public vote, in which the public would vote for who they would like to win. In the first vote, the castaway who received the least votes would be eliminated. In the second vote, the castaway who received the most votes would win.
