Kula Kula is the merged tribe of Ika, Taku, and Vati from Survivor 42. Their tribe color is purple.

Early on, the pecking order on Kula Kula was controlled by a supermajority. However, because of infighting within the former Ikas and Vatis, the Taku Four ascended to power, with Omar Zaheer controlling the power dynamics from under the radar. When the stronghold crumbled and the Taku Four turned on each other, it was the underestimated members of Kula Kula that emerged victorious.

Notes: ^1 The unchosen sit-out from the last challenge (Rocksroy) was exiled. There, he was given an hourglass, which he may choose to break to strip the winning team of their immunity, transferring it to the losing team and himself. Rocksroy broke the hourglass. ^2 At the Immunity Challenge, the ten remaining players were divided into two groups of five, with one person from each team winning immunity.   • Coincidentally, its name rhymes with another purple merged tribe, Bula Bula.
  • It is the first purple merged tribe (and second purple tribe overall, after Malakal) to produce a female Sole Survivor.
• Kula Kula contains three contestants who were openly LGBT at the time of airing, the most of any merged tribe in Survivor. This would later be tied by Va Va.
• Kula Kula is the third tribe to contain multiple Canadian castaways, after Viakana and Taku.
