Koh-Lanta: Pacifique is the fifth season of Koh-Lanta. It was broadcast on TF1 from July 5, 2005 to August 31, 2005.

Clémence Castel defeated Francis Pierre-Jacque in a 7-0 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor. To date, this season has produced four returning players (Clémence Castel, Coumba Baradji, Francis Pierre-Jacque and Mohamed Derradji) for future seasons.

Production

This season was filmed on the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia.

Twists

• Old vs. Young: The castaways were divided into two tribes based on their ages. Kanawa consisted of castaways over the age of 30, and Kumo consisted of castaways aged 30 and younger.
• Double Elimination: On Day 3, Kumo had openly discussed their votes at Tribal Council, which is against the rules of Koh-Lanta, so they were forced to vote out a second member of their tribe.
• Replacements: Due to the Double Elimination, Caroline Colusso entered the game on Day 5 to replace Aude Réant and/or Mathieu Huguin. After Sylvie Sébert's evacuation, Francis Bordas returned to the game to replace her.
• Tribe Switch: After winning the Reward Challenge on Day 11, Kanawa could permanently take one of Kumo's members. They chose Jérôme Villaseque, who would be immune at Kanawa's next Tribal Council.
