Koh-Lanta: Malaisie is the 15th season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-lanta. This season takes place in Malaysia on the archipelago of Seribuat in Johor Province, and will broadcast on TF1 in November 2012, every Fridays at 8:45pm (7:45 p.m. GMT). Two rules from Raja Ampat were introduced in this season. One is taken directly from the American Survivor format: the Hidden Immunity Idol (represented as a necklace), and the black vote, which permits to an eliminated contestant to take revenge by voting one more time against one of the remaining contestants.

Twists

• Ambassadors: The purpose of the summit is to directly eliminate a survivor, and in case of tiebreaker, one ambassador is eliminated.
• Hidden Immunity Necklace: The Necklace is played after the vote to detract particular voting blocs from targeting the player in question.
• Black Vote: Black vote permits to an eliminated contestant to take revenge by voting one more time against one of the remaining contestants.
• Schoolyard Pick: The two tribe were determined by the man and woman who won the initial challenge.
• Banishment: After the Schoolyard Pick on Day 1, four castaways were banished until the Day 4 Reward Challenge, where they would join the two starting tribes.
• Tied Destinies: On Day 29, the ten people remaining are divided into five pairs by a rock draw. Until the next Tribal Council, the fate of each contestant is linked to their partner: the challenges are competed by pairs, and the person voted out at Tribal Council causes their partner's demise.
• Replacements: Due to two evacuations, two castaways returned into the game after being voted out.
