Koh-Lanta: Le Combat des Héros is the 22nd season of Koh-Lanta, the French version of Survivor.
Twists
- All-Stars: All the contestants are players from previous seasons.
- Exile Island: In a similar format to the American twist, this new island will work just like Redemption Island. For the first six rounds, before the tribes merge, when a player gets eliminated from the game, he/she still have a chance to reintegrate the game. The said contestant will go to Redemption Island, where he/she will fend for himself during his/her entire stay. When the next person gets voted out, the two players will compete in a "duel". The winner gets to stay at the island, while the loser is eliminated from the game for good. When the tribes merge, the last person standing on Redemption Island will return to the main game and will continue his/her pursuit of the cash prize and the title of Sole Survivor.
- Impromptu Tribal Council: In Episode 1, the first Tribal Council is held immediately after the Immunity Challenge, at the challenge site.
- No Evacuation Replacement: In regular seasons of Koh-Lanta, if a castaway is medically evacuated, the castaway eliminated at the previous Tribal Council has the opportunity to come back in the game (a new castaway is added to the game if someone is evacuated before the first Tribal). This is not the case this season.*
