Koh-Lanta: La Nouvelle Édition is the 16th Season of koh-Lanta. After 2013 season cancelation, TF1 chose for new season All-Stars. There 13 contestant from past seasons with new twist. For the first time there are only 13 castaway and the first episode of the game is completely individual. Teams are formed at the fourth day.

Twists

• No Tribes: For the first time, the first episode of the game is completely individual. Teams are formed at the fourth day.
• Éclaireur:Two candidates (Freddy and Teheiura) start the isolated eleven other candidates adventure, not participating in the first trials or the first board. During the first three days, they perform an expedition through the jungle to reach the camp, and join the other candidates at the beginning of the second episode, where they are responsible for forming teams.
• Return: Due Sandra's evacuation, Isabelle return to the game.
• All-Stars: All the contestants are players from previous seasons.
• Black Vote: Black vote permits to an eliminated contestant to take revenge by voting one more time against one of the remaining contestants.
• Ambassadors: Since the first all-star (Koh-Lanta, le retour des héros) the purpose is to directly eliminate a survivor, and in case of tie-breaker, one ambassador is eliminated
