Kelly Bruno is a contestant from Survivor: Nicaragua.
The second amputee to compete on Survivor, Kelly found herself alienated from her tribe due to her initial place in the minority alliance. Despite avoiding the hot seat due to La Flor's long string of immunity wins, this would soon come to an end as she was deemed a threat by the La Flor Alliance for her potential to garner sympathy votes from the jury.

Reason for being on SURVIVOR: The challenge and the competition; I also want to honor my father who has been a strong influence in overcoming many of the challenges I've faced as an amputee and in life.
Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: I'm physically and mentally strong. I've overcome obstacles before when the odds were stacked up against me and I can do it again.
Kelly B. was initially placed on the La Flor tribe consisting of castaways under the age of 30. Upon revealing her artificial leg to her tribemates, she caused mixed reactions. Some members speculated that her artificial leg might cause them problems during a challenge and making her a large threat should she make it to the Final Tribal Council. This fact would be put on hold when La Flor won the first Immunity Challenge. Though they lost the second one, the tribe was amazed on how Kelly B. performed at the challenge, gaining some respect, although they still had reservations. After the loss, Kelly B. joined Shannon Elkins' alliance to supposedly eliminate Brenda Lowe. But after Shannon made crude remarks at Tribal Council, she and Benry Henry jumped ship to Brenda's alliance of NaOnka Mixon, Sash Lenahan, Chase Rice, and Kelly Shinn, while Shannon paid the price and was voted out. Though she joined them in voting Shannon out, siding with him in the first place put her into a minority position in the tribe.
After sacrificing the Medallion of Power to the rival Espada tribe for fishing gear in Day 1, she and tribemate Alina Wilson discovered that the trade also gave them a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol buried somewhere at camp, though the two failed to locate it. After winning the Day 8 combined Reward/Immunity Challenge with a basket of fruits for reward, she raced against tribemate and majority alliance member NaOnka for a basket containing a second Hidden Immunity Idol clue, with the latter even shoving her and wasting some of the fruits they had won. When NaOnka finally found the La Flor Immunity Idol the next day, she followed Kelly B. and Alina trying to find the idol for themselves. Not knowing that NaOnka already found it, they searched at the place where NaOnka found it, only to be caught by NaOnka, who started bullying Kelly B. to break her confidence, also upsetting Alina, who didn't approve of the bullying. Though appalled at how NaOnka mistreated her, Kelly B. decided to stay reserved.
During the Tribe Switch on Day 12, Kelly B. stayed at La Flor. At the Day 15 Double Tribal Council twist, she was targeted by Brenda, who never had any allegiance with her. Eventually, the vote resulted in a tie after the majority alliance split their votes, with Kelly B. and ex-Espada member Marty Piombo having three votes each, with Brenda having two votes. After a revote, Kelly B. was shocked when she was blindsided by a 5-1 vote.
