Katinka Oosthuizen is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Philippines.
Playing up the persona of a dumb blonde, Katinka's unthreatening nature helped her to find insulation in Werner Joubert's majority alliance, but her immature comments earned her the ire of many of her fellow castaways, especially Toni Tebbutt. Despite being loose-lipped and leaking several strategic plans to Werner's enemies, Katinka made it all the way to the final five after forming a Final Three pact with Werner and Tom Swartz. However, when Tom told Werner of Katinka's plan to blindside him at the final four, Werner acted one step ahead and blindsided her with his idol at the final five.

Bubbly Katinka is the youngest Survivor SA competitor in the history of the South African series. A social media influencer and content creator, Katinka is known to her fans as a tongue-in-cheek comedian who doesn't take life too seriously. Optimistic and confident, Katinka admits that her major weakness in the game could be the fact that she struggles to keep secrets, which could result in a potential minefield when deceit is one of the cornerstones of the game.[1]

^1 In Episode 6, Luzon and Mindanao were subjected to a joint and mock Tribal Council where the players they voted out were switched to the other tribe. The person voted off Mindanao, Annalize, was given the privilege to take an original tribemate with her. She chose Katinka to join her on Luzon.
^2 In Episode 10, PK used a Hidden Immunity Idol, negating Katinka's vote against him. Also, the vote ended with a 1-1-0-0 tie between Chané and Tom, forcing a revote. Katinka changed her vote to Chané on the revote.
