Kate Gloufchis is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn II.
Laying low at the early stages, Kate's ability to integrate in the good graces of the Brawn tribe placed her in a solid position, and formed an unbreakable bond with her main ally Morgan Mitchell. After placing a successful hit on her biggest threat in Jesse Noonan at the merge in an attempt to connect with other potential allies, she eventually found herself at the mercy of the Brains majority as the last remaining Brawn and was voted off in a surprising flip by Zara Callianiotis, who deemed Kate as her primary threat at the remaining Immunity Challenges.

Kate (Brawn)
Dancer/DJ
Melbourne based DJ and dancer, Kate is bubbly, bright and that's exactly how she wants people to see her.
Wearing one of her dancer style outfits for Survivor might confuse her fellow tribemates but she knows what she's doing. Kate says, "Look at what I'm wearing on the first day – it's rhinestone and denim. My whole outfit is just to look like a girly girl. I think they are gonna get the wrong perception, I think they're not gonna think that I'm here for the right reasons which is totally fine with me.
"I do like people to see me as my Instagram self, rather than my real self. Because then they're just going to go, oh, she's not a threat, we'll keep her in for now. And then I'm just going to be like, boom! I am here to push myself and see how far I can get."
She admits she will play an emotional game but hopes they won't see it as a weakness and know it's her passion that is driving her.
Pushing herself is something Kate knows a lot about as she suffers from OCD which can be mentally draining and physically demanding.
Kate says, "My OCD is something that really, really causes a bit of hardship on my life. I find that it really challenges me. So I know what it's like to feel challenged mentally, but also physically. I'm constantly walking in and out of doors, sitting up and down on my bed.
"My perception of Brawn is my mental strength. It sometimes takes me 10 goes to pick up a drink or sitting down on my bed can sometimes take me a whole hour. But I push through, and I won't let it stop me."[1]

^1 In "The Strong-Arm", the Brains were subjected to a mock Tribal Council where the player they voted out was switched to the other tribe.
^2 In "The Buddy System", Myles used a Hidden Immunity Idol on Paulie, negating Kate's vote against him.
^3 In "The Rat King", Logan used a Hidden Immunity Idol, negating Kate's vote against her.
^4 In "Pickled", instead of voting a castaway out of the game, the Malosi tribe voted to send two castaways to Barren. Kate had won individual immunity and could not be voted to be sent to Barren.
^5 In "G-R-I-M", Myles used a Hidden Immunity Idol, negating Kate's vote against him.
^6 In "The Magic Number", the vote ended with a 4-4 tie between Logan and Zara, forcing a revote. Nobody changed their vote on the revote, forcing a unanimous decision tiebreaker. Kate changed her vote to Logan on the tiebreaker.

Trivia[]
- Kate is the highest-placing member of the original Brawn tribe.
- According to Kate's post-game interviews, the main reason she decided to apply in Australian Survivor is to raise awareness on obsessive-compulsive disorder or OCD, a condition she has been struggling with. This was also something she openly discussed about with her fellow contestants during the game.[2]
