Survivor Québec[]
Karine was placed on the Kalooban tribe, where she got along the most with Pierre-Alexandre Guillot; though the two were not the most powerful members of the tribe, they were always well-positioned socially and were in the know about every vote before the tribe switch. Additionally, Pierre-Alexander and Karine had been close with the Kalooban members that had been blindsided (Denis, Martin, Sylvain, and Vicky), with all of them falsely believing that they had the pair on their side. Karine also became the first contestant to find a Hidden Immunity Idol.
On Day 16, a tribe switch occurred, sending Karine to the Tiyaga tribe alongside two other Kalooban women and four original Tiyaga tribe members. Though the situation seemed bleak for the three original Kalooban women, the sole female original Tiyaga tribe member on their new tribe, Marika Guay, felt that she was at the bottom of her original alliance and wanted to throw these women a lifeline. Thus, after the Tiyaga tribe lost the eighth Immunity Challenge, Marika plotted with them to vote against Christophe Tiffet at Tribal Council as they were predicting that Sango Bien-Aimé would play his Hidden Immunity Idol on their ideal target, Jean-Junior Morin. However, without Marika's knowledge, Karine became interested in working with the men and leaked the plan to them, prompting them to turn on Marika. At Tribal Council, Karine confirmed her allegiance to the men by voting against Marika with them, eliminating her in a narrow 4-3 vote. Maryse Lauzon was initially next in line to be eliminated after the Tiyaga tribe lost the following Immunity Challenge as well, but this eventually shifted to Martine Larose Reda thanks to Maryse's newfound closeness to Sango and her passionate plea at Tribal Council which contrasted Martine's halfhearted one.
When the tribes merged into Pag-Asa, Christophe's majority alliance, which now also included Maryse and Karine, was able to regroup; they recruited yet another new member into their fold, Justine Turpin. Joël Dandurand was their first target for elimination, but when he won the first individual Immunity Challenge, they split the votes between Sylvain Béland and Nicolas Brunette instead. Sylvain was voted out for a second time and, without the Pag-Asa tribe's knowledge, sent to Redemption Island. In a surprise Double Elimination, the Tiyaga Alliance immediately had another chance to vote out Joël after he lost the intervening Immunity Challenge. The alliance split their votes between Nicolas and Joël; Joël played his Hidden Immunity Idol for himself and Sango played his own for Kimberly Fortin in order to establish loyalty. As a result, Nicolas was eliminated as collateral damage.
With nine contestants remaining in the main game, Sango wanted to make a move, so he took advantage of a reward that he shared with Sandrine Fortier, Maryse, and Justine; the four agreed to work with Joël to blindside Jean-Junior at the next Tribal Council. After Jean-Junior won the following individual Immunity Challenge, their target switched to Christophe. However, Justine preferred to work with Christophe's group in the long run and leaked Sango's conspiracy to them. Thus, with the majority alliance pivoted to targeting Sango instead of Joël at the next Tribal Council. Indeed, Sango was voted out in a narrow 5-4 vote and sent to Redemption Island.
With the majority alliance now shortened to five loyal people, its members easily voted out Joël, Maryse, and Sandrine over the following three cycles. Additionally, Karine found another Hidden Immunity Idol, but this one had an expiry date. On Redemption Island, Nicolas won the final duel against Sandrine and Sylvain and returned to the main game. As most of the tribe seemed to have the same short-term headspace to simply concentrate on voting Nicolas back out of the game, Karine, wanting to bolster her resume, made a misguided plan in what would turn out to be a big show rather than a big move. This involved convincing Nicolas to vote against Christophe at the next Tribal Council, while in reality, she would play her expired Hidden Immunity Idol on Nicolas to no effect and play her still active one on Christophe, effectively protecting Christophe and eliminating Nicolas again. Meanwhile, what really happened was that Nicolas ultimately worked with Kimberly and Christophe to blindside Jean-Junior instead, with Karine and Justine being left out of the plan as well. Needing to win out from this point on, Karine won herself individual immunity at the final five but failed at the final four, causing her unanimous elimination right before the Final Tribal Council.
At the Final Tribal Council, Karine joined the jury in voting for Nicolas to win the title of Sole Survivor; he won in a 6-1-1 vote over Christophe and Kimberly.
