Juan Manuel "Juanma" López Iturriaga is a Spanish former basketball player and TV personality.
After his retirement from basketball, Juanma embarked on a TV career, coming to fame hosting hidden camera show Inocente, inocente. He became the host of Supervivientes: Expedición Robinson in 2000, and returned for the second series in 2001.
When Telecinco axed the show in 2001, Juanma stayed as a basketball pundit and was replaced by Paula Vázquez when the show was picked up by Antena 3 in 2003.

Hosting Supervivientes[]
Juanma joined the show for its debut in 2000, however the show flopped, down to both not being able to live up to the success of Telecinco's recent smash hit Gran Hermano, and also due to mistakes in filming with such a quick turn-around (the show was based on the format proposed for TVE, the network which pulled out of filming the show at the last minute). Juanma's hosting was criticised as rather wooden, and in later interviews he admitted that this was due to being forced to mirror the Swedish version and its host Harald Treutiger, saying "I watch myself on Supervivientes that time and I say 'But who is this guy?'. Clearly, I was playing a Swede. For the third series they threw me out and chose Paula Vázquez - I can't think why!"[1] He also called his time on Supervivientes his worst job on television, and that he wouldn't come back to the format due to it now becoming too much like Gran Hermano.[2]
