Josie Eveleigh is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Philippines.
Starting on the Luzon tribe, Josie's game experienced a series of ups and downs. After being relegated to the minority at Luzon's first Tribal Council, Josie emerged on the right side of a shocking rock draw at her second vote before being plunged back into the minority after the tribe expansion. A surprise mock vote allowed her a new lease of life on the Mindanao tribe, where she helped flip the game on Tevin Naidu. Unfortunately, when Mindanao was forced to go from three members to two, Josie's luck finally ran out when her ally Toni Tebbutt chose to keep PK Phetoe over her.

Josie is no stranger to weird and wonderful locations, given that she's a travel writer with her own travel blog. Her passport may be full of stamps, but her journey to Survivor South Africa: Philippines will be unlike anything she has previously embarked on. Josie's strategy in the game is to identify some trustworthy allies and to fly under the radar for as long as possible. Josie also admits that her biggest weakness is getting bored easily, which could result in a lack of patience with others – not ideal for the social aspect of this competition.[1]

^1 In "Episode 2", the vote ended with a 4-4 tie between Josie and Annalize, forcing a revote. Nobody changed their vote on the revote, forcing a rock-drawing tiebreaker. Josie was immune from the tiebreaker.
^2 In "Episode 6", Luzon and Mindanao were subjected to a mock Tribal Council where the players they voted out were switched to the other tribe. Josie ultimately received enough votes to be swapped to the other tribe.
