Jorge Luis Vázquez is the Sole Survivor of La Isla 2016: La Revancha. He originally competed on La Isla 2015: El Reality.
Being sent to the Agua tribe on 2015, Jorge Luis developed an early friendship with Roberto Pérez, but he quickly defected from the tribe, without his tribemates knowing so. When he was switched to the Fuego tribe, he formed a quick friendship with Jorge Alberti while also forming a rivalry with Intocable Gómez. Being deemed a puzzle threat at the merge, he was targeted by the Agua alliance and became the first voted out at the merge.
When he was back for La Revancha, Jorge Luis was sent to the Zafiro tribe, where he formed an early alliance with Ana Ransanz and Ricardo Alcalá, and eventually Dr. Wagner Jr. joined them. When the tribes switched and Jorge Luis was sent to Jade, he became the swing vote in almost all of the trials he was part of, taking out threats like Fernando Alonso and Rafa Mercadante, while also losing an ally along the way. When the tribes merged, he was essential in taking out Julio César Frías, but also had the misfortune of facing off against his close ally Ricardo, being backstabbed by Ana R. that same cycle. Nevertheless, he managed to earn a spot in the Final 2, beating Ana R. at the Finale and becoming the Sole Survivor.

La Isla: El Reality[]
2015[]
Jorge Luis was part of the Agua tribe, where he remained until the tribe switch, when Jorge Alberti chose him to be part of the Fuego tribe. In this new tribe, Jorge Luis felt much better integrated, although not with everyone, because just as he formed friendships, he started a enmity with Intocable Gómez.
Jorge Luis managed to reach the merge, where he preferred to remain with the alliance of the Fuego tribe, which did not seem to his ex-tribemates of the Agua tribe and considered him a traitor. For this reason, they who were the majority decided to vote Jorge Luis out in the first trial of the merger.

^1 In Episode 36, Jorge Luis used an Amulet of Immunity, but did not negate any votes against him.
^2 In Episode 41, the judge didn't save either Jorge Luis or Jorge L., forcing a revote. On the revote, Jorge Luis received enough votes to be eliminated.
La Revancha[]
Jorge Luis was assigned to the Zafiro tribe, where to his bad luck he was reunited with his rival from last season, Intocable, who did not hesitate to vote for him every chance he got. But this did not work out for him, as Jorge Luis formed an alliance with Ana Ransanz and Ricardo Alcalá, and eventually managed to vote Intocable out.
In the tribe switch, the Zafiro tribe disintegrated and Jorge Luis became part of the Jade tribe, being separated from his initial allies. But thanks to his more aggressive strategy game, his vote was definitive in several of the trials, and this added to his good performance in the challenges and individual immunities, made him reach the merge.
At the merge, Jorge Luis was reunited with his initial allies, which allowed him to reach the stage of Deathly Duels. In this stage, Jorge Luis managed to always be the first place in the duels, securing a place at the finale. Finally, Jorge Luis defeated his former ally Ana R. and became the Sole Survivor.
