Hosting Supervivientes[]
Jorge started out hosting companion show Sálvame in 2009. After the show became a surprise hit, it transferred to a daytime slot, often running live for five or six hours a day.
After Jesús Vázquez left the show in 2011, Jorge was promoted to hosting the galas of the show from a studio in Madrid, linking up to the contestants and speaking to them while also running the three-hour live show in Spain. He also talks to the contestants' families, allowing them to give an insight into the Survivors' personalities and explaining personal situations which may be referred to on the show.
