Three Words to Describe You: Outgoing, unpredictable, and intuitive.
"Survivor" Contestant You Are Most Like: Hayden Moss. I feel my personality is a lot like his and he's also an athlete that uses his head.
Reason for Being on "Survivor": The experience and the competition. It's unique and completely social which would be fun to experience.
Why You Think You'll Survive "Survivor": I can build a fire from scratch, debone/gut a fish, catch lizards, and lift things up and put them down.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole "Survivor": I have very good social and physical skills. I can read people well and I'm good at telling them what they need to hear.
What Does It Mean to You to Play "Survivor" with Your Loved One? Playing with Jaclyn is an incredible opportunity. I've learned in the past that experiencing adversity with others can build the relationship you have together (if you do it correctly). Since there is no experience like that of "Survivor," there's no telling the amount that can be gained by triumphing through the challenges that present themselves on a daily basis, let alone those found in Tree Mail!

Survivor: San Juan del Sur

Jon Misch competed on Survivor: San Juan del Sur with his girlfriend, Jaclyn Schultz. When it was time to separate, Jon wrapped buff was blue and was placed on Hunahpu. The tribe praised Jeremy Collins for winning flint at the Hero's duel, but sympathized with him for sending his wife, Val on Exile Island. Jon, despite his goofball persona at camp, was worried about his father dying why he and Jaclyn was playing the game. Hunahpu won the Immunity Challenge when Coyopa falter with the puzzle. Jon believed he ended up losing the flint and accepted the responsibility. After Julie McGee won the Hero's duel against her boyfriend, Hunahpu attempted to barter their beans for a new flint. Jeff Probst scolded the tribe for waiting to see if they won and forced the tribe to trade in their newly won fishing gear for flint. Jon was further upset by using the flint. At the Immunity Challenge, Jon faced off against John Rocker and won despite the size difference. Hunahpu would win immunity again, keeping John Safe.

Jon felt worse about losing the flint when Wes Nale won the Hero's Duel for Coyopa and the fishing gear Hunahpu had to give up for a new flint. After the duel, Jeremy revealed that John Rocker was a form MLB player who made racist and homophobic comments. For the Immunity Challenge, Jon was teamed up with Natalie Anderson. They were pivotal in winning the Immunity Challenge for Hunahpu. After the win, Natalie gotten into an yelling match with Rocker. Natalie was able to find the missing flint. Jon's friend and closest ally, Drew Christy wanted to barter it for a bag of beans. Everyone, Jon included objected because they viewed it as idiotic. Drew tried anyway and was shot down. Jon was select to compete against Jaclyn. Jon won and Jaclyn was sent off to Exile Island. Jon picked Drew to join her. Jon was worried about Drew's laziness being a burden to Jaclyn though. At the Immunity Challenge, Jon was one of the sit outs. Hunahpu lost, largely because of Drew throwing the challenge. Jon wanted to vote out Julie because she didn't have a love one and he wanted to eliminate swing votes. Drew refused to listen and was adamant on voting out Kelley Wentworth because of watching the show previously and believing her to be an Under-The-Radar threat. At Tribal Council, Jon voted against Jeremy's target, Keith Nale while Drew was blindsided by the women.

After Tribal Council, Jon was shocked by Drew's elimination. Jon made a long winded speech, trying to do damage control. At the Hero's Arena, There was no duel but instead a Tribe Switch. Jon ended up on the new Coyopa with Jaclyn. Jon was happy that he was with his girlfriend and was more happy that Coyopa had rice as Hunahpu ate most of their supply. Coyopa was defeated very badly in the Immunity Challenge. Jon and Jaclyn became the swing votes between Missy Payne and her daughter, Baylor Wilson wanted Kelley and her father Dale Wentworth out because of them being smarter and sneakier. Dale wanted Missy out for liberally cooking Coyopa's carefully rationed rice and Baylor for being untrustworthy. Jon and Jaclyn sided with the mother-daughter pair and split the vote in case Dale or Kelley had the Hidden Immunity Idol. Kelley was voted out in a 3-2-2 vote.

Dale came to Jon and showed the latter on what the former claimed was an idol. Despite the item Dale showed was not an idol, Jon believed it was a legitimate idol and was tempted by it. Baylor lost the Hero's Duel and the Barbecue. At the Immunity Challenge, Coyopa was initially leading. However, Jon and Missy blew it on the puzzle, allowing Hunahpu to win again. Dale offered to give Jon his "Idol" if he wasn't voted out of the game. When Jon told his alliance about Dale's alleged Idol, they told him to split the votes between Dale and Keith. At Tribal Council, Dale was voted out in 3-2-1 vote.

On Day 16, the tribes got Tree Mail that heavily implied the merge. This was the case and the castaways celebrated with a feast. Jon and Jaclyn became the swing votes between Jeremy's and Josh Canfield's alliances, each going after the other. The young couple sided with Josh's alliance to vote out Jeremy. Jon also grew annoyed with Julie when he discovered that she was hoarding the trail mix from the merge feast for herself. Any attempt to vote out Jeremy was put on hold as the isolated Julie would quit the game. At the next Reward Challenge, Jon was teamed with Jaclyn, Alec, Baylor, and Josh but lost. Jon was the one who sent to Exile Island. Jon was able to find the Hidden Immunity Idol during his time on Exile. At the Immunity Challenge, Jon was quickly eliminated and Jeremy won immunity over Josh. After the challenge, Jaclyn pleaded with Jon to side with Jeremy's alliance because of their lack of respect towards her. She also pointed out Josh's alliance had people would be harder to beat in physical challenges. Although Jon still wanted Jeremy out of the game, He agreed with Jaclyn and Josh was voted out in a 6-5 vote.

For the next Reward Challenge, The castaway was divided into teams and faced off against each other in a one on one matches. Jon faced off against Jeremy twice and won both rounds. However, Jon's team would lose the challenge. However, Jon and Jaclyn were allowed to go on the Yacht reward because of Jeremy and Natalie giving up theirs. Jon was worried about Jeremy finding out he had the idol. Jon's worried would by justified and Jeremy tried to catch Jon in a lie after the Immunity Challenge. Jon showed Missy his idol and pleaded with her to vote out Jeremy. Jeremy would be voted out of the game in a 5-3-2 vote. However, Jon unknowingly made an enemy in Natalie, would wanted vengeance for her fallen ally.

At the next Reward Challenge, Jon was teamed with Alec, Jaclyn, and Reed. They ended up winning the reward to deliver toys to a local. During the visit, Jon and Jaclyn revealed their plans to adopt a child because of Jaclyn's infertility. At the next immunity, Jon would be the first person to drop out for a bowl of candy. The intended target, Reed won immunity. Jon's alliance decided to Split the votes between Keith and Wes. However, Reed intended to take advantage of the split vote to blindside Jon. At Tribal Council, Jon was made worried by Keith's "Stick to the Plan" line and Natalie told Jon to play his idol. Jon did play the idol, followed by Keith playing his idol. Both men would negate the votes against them and Wes was eliminated as he was only one with votes that counted against him.

Jon wanted to look like the mastermind to the jury and told Jaclyn not to give anyone else credit for his plans. Jaclyn was annoyed with Jon believing he would be the one to go to Final Tribal Council, despite her believing that Jon was saved by Natalie and herself. At the Reward Challenge, The Fab Five quickly eliminated the men's alliance. However, after the alliance starting talking about how the game would carry out. When offered, The remaining players decided to let Missy win and Jon volunteered to go to Exile. Jon was quickly find the Hidden Immunity Idol during his time on Exile. When he returned to camp, Jaclyn told Jon that they were swing votes once again. This time it was between Reed's alliance and Missy's alliance. However, Jon refused to be associated with Reed under the justification that Reed would backstab him. This cause the young couple to start arguing and didn't talk to each other with Jaclyn giving Jon the silent treatment for hours. However, the young would agree to send Reed packing in a unanimous vote of 7-1.

Natalie selected Jon and Jaclyn to join her on a King's size bed reward. However at this point, Natalie decided to enact her vengeance on Jon. However, Jon beat out Keith to win individual immunity. As a failsafe, Jon decided to do a Split vote between Alec and Keith. Expecting Keith to leave, Jon was confused when Alec had his torch snuffed. After Tribal Council, it was revealed that Natalie voted against Alec. Natalie claims that her voting against Alec was a mistake on her part. However, she was actually lying and Jaclyn suspected her of such. However, Jon shrugged off Jaclyn's concerns and believed he was on the driver's seat of the game. Natalie won individual immunity and decided to blindside Jon. At Tribal Council, Jon was confident that Keith was leaving and didn't play his idol. This would cost him as the initial vote was a 2-2-2 vote between Jon, Jaclyn, and Keith and Jon ended being eliminated in the revote.

At Final Tribal Council, Jon asked Jaclyn to explain a big move. Jaclyn said her move was voting out Josh because she would be on the bottom of their alliance. Jon wished her good luck. Jon voted for Jaclyn to win but she lost to Natalie 5-2-1 vote.
